Statistical Success - Brutal Strength and Recognition of Power
Are you still waiting for the Big Boom of SUCCESS to overcome you? Well, it may not happen. You may simply be one of those statistical success magnets who realize that success is the act of getting started. Once you get started, you're half there. The rest is simply continuing the momentum you started when you put the act in motion.
There's a simplicity that comes with success understood by the masses that gives you a bit of recognition for your achievements, but the power of recognition is in the climb. Few people ever achieve instant success. The road that leads to true achievement generally takes a while. A few bumps and bruises later, you get where you're going with recognizable scars, and a story to tell. Without that story, your bumps and bruises won't mean a lot and nobody will remember you for long.
The Brute Strength of your achievement is literally in the climb. There are many who achieve great heights, but it is the few who get there with a devil of a story that are remembered for the aggressive action they took along the way.
For instance; Abe Lincoln had many failures along the road he took to become President. While he's remembered as President Abe Lincoln, most who discuss him mention that he was honest and true. He took the righteous route to the white house. Empowered by his values, Honest Abe went a long ways toward achieving his desired goals.
And more people know that George Washington chopped down a Cherry Tree than about any specific something he accomplished while President of the United States.
What will you be recognized for?
